Internet in Angola: everything you need to know
Angola has roughly 35% internet penetration and 4G mobile coverage exceeding 70% of the population (source: ITU DataHub, 2024). The mobile market is dominated by Unitel (incumbent, ~70% share), Movicel (~20%) and Africell, which entered in 2022 after liberalisation and is pushing prices down. 5G is at pilot stage in Luanda (Unitel).
