About us

datadopt.com is an independent tool designed to help travelers find the best eSIM offer for their destination at the best price.

Who we are

Datadopt started from a simple conviction: staying connected abroad should be neither complicated nor expensive. We are travel and technology enthusiasts, and we have landed without a signal, hunted for a SIM card and opened a brutal roaming bill too many times.

We aim to offer the best ways to stay connected abroad. In practice, we continuously compare eSIM plans from more than a hundred operators worldwide: the price actually paid, data allowance, validity, coverage and pricing model. Every price shown is converted into your currency and tied to a plan you can genuinely buy.

Our job is to verify that data rather than copy it. Operator catalogues change every week: a plan disappears, a price moves, a regional bundle replaces a local one. We track those changes so the comparison you read matches what you find at checkout.

Who is behind Datadopt

Datadopt is run by Samuel. I work in digital and I am as passionate about new technology as I am about travel: I have been to more than 50 countries across the 5 continents.

On those trips I often needed a connection to work or simply to find my way, so I turned to eSIMs very regularly. Hence the idea of building a site that lists the most relevant eSIM plans to stay connected in any circumstance, anywhere in the world.

Our vision

To let every traveller stay connected abroad.

Our mission

With the rise of eSIMs, the market has fragmented into dozens of providers with widely varying prices and conditions. Our goal is simple: offer you a clear, transparent and up-to-date comparison of every available plan, so you can travel connected with total peace of mind.

How it works

We automatically collect offers directly from provider sites using our scrapers. Prices shown reflect rates at the time our crawlers last passed. We recommend verifying the final price on the provider site before purchase.

Transparency & affiliation

Some links to providers are affiliate links. This means if you purchase through our site, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. These commissions allow us to maintain and improve this service for free.
