Tanzania has 35 % internet penetration and ~80 % 4G mobile coverage (source: ITU DataHub, 2024). An eSIM connects to Vodacom, Airtel or Tigo on landing at Dar es Salaam (DAR), Zanzibar (ZNZ) or Kilimanjaro (JRO). Coverage is solid on Zanzibar but uneven in the national parks.
