Moldova relies on three carriers: Orange Moldova, Moldcell and Unite (Moldtelecom). The country has excellent connectivity: fibre is among the cheapest in Europe and 4G/5G covers cities and roads well. Internet penetration exceeds 85 % (source: ITU DataHub, 2024). Moldova sits outside the EU roaming zone: without an eSIM, data is billed at international rates.
