The Maldives are covered by two carriers, Dhiraagu and Ooredoo Maldives, whose 4G network stretches atoll to atoll across nearly all inhabited islands and resorts. Internet penetration exceeds 80% (source: ITU DataHub, 2024). Classic roaming here is among the world's most expensive: the eSIM is an economic no-brainer.
