Bahrain has over 99 % internet penetration and 5G mobile coverage exceeding 99 % of the territory (source: ITU DataHub, 2024). The country was one of the first in the Gulf to launch commercial 5G. Batelco (incumbent), STC Bahrain (ex-Viva) and Zain BH share the market ; all three offer 5G.
- ●Dense 5G/4G coverage across the entire archipelago : Manama, Muharraq, Riffa, Hamad Town, Isa Town, Sitra, all the way to Bahrain International Airport (BAH) and the Sakhir circuit. The archipelago is 50 km tip to tip — there's essentially no dead zone.
